He also\u00a0ensures that the available human, financial and physical resources lead to the achievement of better health outcomes. Helps to\u00a0improve comprehensive health service delivery. Likewise, helps\u00a0improving quality of life and well-being of the population through the prevention of communicable and non-communicable diseases by\u00a0promoting overall healthy lifestyles and an environment conducive to health.<\/span><\/strong><\/span><br \/><br \/><strong><span style=\"color: #0340e5; font-size: large;\">Functions and\u00a0Technical areas<\/span><br \/><span style=\"color: #2a2a2a;\">\u200b<\/span><\/strong><br \/><strong><span style=\"color: #2a2a2a;\">\u200bMO Planning compiles, develops and monitors the implementation of annual and medium plans for RDHS Kalmunai. He also coordinates with district and provincial managers in development of district\/regional and provincial plans and special donor funded projects.\u00a0<\/span><\/strong><strong><span style=\"color: #2a2a2a;\">He also coordinates achievement of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and national health targets. He actively organises s<\/span><\/strong><strong><span style=\"color: #2a2a2a;\">taff development activities for Kalmunai RDHS staff.\u00a0<\/span><\/strong><strong><span style=\"color: #2a2a2a;\">His another main function is human resource development for RDHS Kalmunai including planning, develop and revise duty lists, advocate for revising curricula for basic and in-service training.\u00a0\u200bHe also coordinates basic and post graduate training for the staff with relevant agencies.\u00a0<\/span><\/strong><br \/><br \/><strong><span style=\"color: #2a2a2a;\">MO Planning coordinates disaster preparedness and response coordination activities with regard to health of general population in emergencies. He also advocates and coordinates to improve specialised campaign programme delivery at the field level by strengthening points of service provision.\u00a0<\/span><\/strong><strong><span style=\"color: #2a2a2a;\">He also makes sure quality improvement in service delivery at the point of care in association with MO Quality Management.
